In the city of Salem, promises made in innocence demand a price in blood.
When young women begin turning up dead across the city—each carrying a cold handwritten note reading "The vow is coming due"—Inspector Grace Nenje takes on the case. Partnering with investigative reporter Phiri Kigo, her search pulls back the curtain on political corruption, corporate secrets, and high-level cover-ups.
But beneath the bodies lies a single forgotten memory: a pact made in a dusty 2004 classroom between two children who didn't understand the weight of their words. As old betrayals collide with present power, no one in Salem is safe.
False Vows is a gripping thriller about love, corruption, and the tragic price of broken promises.
